The Utah Department of Water Quality maintains a training calendar that includes training events for many organizations including WEAU, American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the Rural Water Association of Utah (RWAU).

Training - Conquering Your Combination Truck Issues - July 12, 2017

The WEAU Collection Committee is pleased to offer “Conquering Your Combination Truck Issues”.  The class will be taught by Factory Representatives from Vactor, Vac-Con and Vacall and is applicable to all combination trucks.  Included with the training will be a delicious lunch. Please complete the registration form and return it with your check payable to WEAU. Payment is due at the time you register.

Activated Sludge 101 Training Course

The PWO division of the WEAU invites you to attend some valuable training. We are pleased to announce a one day class on Activated Sludge Process Control. This class is for all personnel interested in the activated sludge process, including current operators of the process or those who might be taking an (ABC) wastewater operator exam grades III and IV.

The class will be limited to 20 individuals, so please go online to www.weau.org to register and pay online OR complete the registration form below and return it with your check made out to WEAU.  Payment is due at the time you register. We look forward to seeing you there.  A BBQ Lunch will be provided.

Biosolids 101 Training and Facility Tour

Dear Wastewater Professional:

The Biosolids Committee is pleased to offer a valuable Biosolids 101 Training and Facility Tour of the Central Davis Sewer District. A delicious LUNCH will also be provided. The training will cover many topics regarding biosolids including aeration, digestion, chemical addition, dewatering, state regulations, compost classifications, land application and an overview of new and upcoming technologies regarding the treatment of biosolids.

The WEAU Laboratory Committee is pleased to offer “What every Operator Needs to Know about the Lab”.  The class will be taught by Paul Krauth (Statepoint Engineering) and Richard Mickelsen (Provo City).  Included with the training will be a delicious lunch.
