Report of WEAU Annual Conference
March 28th-31st, 2006

Now that the dust has settled over the 2006 Annual Conference and everyone has packed their bags and gone home, WEAU would like to thank all of you for your participation and helping to make this a successful conference.

Ron Thompson, General Manager of Washington County WCD, speaks at the opening luncheon on regional water issues.

Every aspect of the 2006 Annual Conference went smoothly and was well -prepared and well-attended thanks to our participants and volunteers, from the Pre-Conference Workshop on Tuesday through the opening luncheon, technical sessions, Operator Challenge, awards banquet, and the golf tournament on Friday.

Sandra Schuler, Huber Technologies, speaks on MBR plants in one of the 50 technical sessions.

Some 314 professionals attended the 50 technical sessions, and they brought 59 partners with them, who enjoyed the many activities that accompanied the conference.

Some 49 vendors were represented in the exhibit hall, and we appreciate their annual commitment to WEAU. Even the pre-conference workshop was well-attended, attracting some 75 persons the day before the main conference began. In short, this was one of the best conferences ever!

We look forward to being with you again at the 2007 Annual Conference on the 17th to 20th of April in St. George
