Junior Stockholm Water Prize

Above is a picture of Michael Boyle awarding the Junior Stockholm Prize certificate to the Utah winner, Doug Naftz of Park City. Doug, a sophomore at Park City High School and an Honors Biology student, received a check for $100 from the WEAU and another $100 from the SBWRD.Doug's science fair project with which he won the state competition, and represented Utah at the National Sciene Fair in Louisville, KY this summer, addressed nutrients and salts in a creek (East Canyon Creek).  This creek is the receiving water for the reclamation facility effluent for SBWRD East Canyon plant.
